Phone prefix for Australia: 00
You can use the phone prefix when you are in Australia and want to call someone who is not in Australian territories. If you are outside Australia and want to make a phone call to someone who is in Australia, you first have to look up the right prefix number for that country in the prefix number list (see continental list).
